What Are We Doing?

As of August 2023, our current project is connecitng our two repeaters, Lwood #1 above Daffodil Hill and Lwood #2 at Shake Ridge and Hale, to facilitate communications between the two repeaters. This will allow everyone to hear and respond across our entire area.

Since 2020 Lockwood Neighborhood Radio Watch has:

Secured funds to pay for 2 radio repeaters and related equipment
Tested locations and installed two Repeaters located at Station 152 and above Station 151 of the Lockwood Fire District.
Built out our website and social media content.
Established working relationships with government and community organizations.
Planned for community education meetings.
Conducted weekly "safety-nets" with LNRW members for training and familiarity with using the radios.
